The booking desk
An artist booking usually starts with two people who speak different languages. On one side is a marketing head who needs a name on the invitation by Friday. On the other is a performer's manager juggling six cities, a shoot and a flight delay. Our work is the translation between them — dates, fees, riders, rights and the dozens of small details that decide whether the evening lands or limps.
Delhi asks for things other cities don't. A launch at Bharat Mandapam needs a sound check squeezed into a two-hour window. A Chattarpur farmhouse sangeet needs a dhol entry timed to the baraat, not the clock. A dealer meet in Aerocity needs an act that will hold a room of eight hundred people who have already sat through three presentations. Two decades of working this circuit has taught us which performer suits which room — and, just as usefully, which one does not.

How a booking runs
Date, venue, audience size, occasion and the budget band you are working with. A voice note works as well as a deck. The more honest the budget, the faster we stop wasting your time.
Three to five names that fit the room, the tone and the money — each with availability, fee band, stage requirements and one line on what the act is actually good at.
We place a date hold, negotiate the fee on your behalf and issue a written contract covering performance time, rider, cancellation and replacement terms. Advance released against signature.
Travel, hotel, airport and station pick-ups, green room, technical rider, soundcheck slot and standby arrangements. Cross-checked against the venue's real constraints — not against a template.
A coordinator stays on the ground from load-in to last call. Stage time is managed to the minute, and the balance payment is settled the way the contract said it would be.
Why clients stay
Anyone can forward a rate card. The difference shows up a week before the event, when the venue changes the load-in time and the artist's flight is delayed.
Where we work
Most of our roster lives in and around the capital, which keeps local bookings quick and travel costs low. Outstation work is routine for us — we plan it around flights and hotel blocks rather than hoping it works out.
Our home ground. Same-day site visits, local rehearsals and performers who can be on standby without a flight in between. Most of our corporate and wedding work happens inside this radius.
Conference, dealer meet and wedding season work takes us to every major metro and a good number of tier-two towns, along with destination venues where the artist, the crew and the production all need to travel together.
Every venue imposes its own rules on sound, timing and access. We plan the performance against those constraints from the beginning, which is why our soundchecks rarely run long.
Questions we get asked
It depends almost entirely on who you are booking. A stand-up comic for a 40-minute corporate set and a playback singer for a two-hour concert sit in completely different brackets. For local Delhi acts — anchors, DJs, dhol troupes, classical dancers — budgets usually start in the low five figures. Film and television names are quoted per show, and long-distance travel or an outstation date adds to it. Tell us your budget band first and we will only send options that genuinely fit inside it.
Four to six weeks is comfortable for most acts, and it is close to essential between November and February when Delhi's wedding and conference calendar is packed. Big film names are best held two to three months out. That said, we keep a live availability sheet and can often close a last-minute request inside 48 hours.
The brief, the shortlist, fee negotiation and the contract. Then travel and hotel, airport pick-up, green room, the technical rider, soundcheck slot, stage time management and the final settlement. For brand work we also coordinate the shoot schedule, usage rights and the artist's approvals.
Yes. Delhi is our home base and where most of our roster lives, but we regularly produce shows in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Pune, Jaipur, Chandigarh and Lucknow, along with destination venues in Udaipur, Jodhpur, Goa and the hills.
That is a large part of what we do — matching a face to a product rather than just to an event date. We handle the pitch, the fee structure, exclusivity and category restrictions, usage rights for digital and print, and the shooting schedule.
Every contract we issue carries a replacement clause. If it is triggered, we put a standby act from the same fee band and genre on stage instead, and we do it from a shortlist you have already approved during planning — not one we invent on the morning of the show.
We do. Sound, lighting, LED walls, stage risers and a technical crew can all come through our production desk, or we can work with the venue's in-house setup. Either way the rider is cross-checked against the actual room before the artist arrives.
Constantly. Planners, agency producers and in-house corporate teams all use us as a booking desk. We are happy to stay invisible to your client, quote on your letterhead and work to your margins.
